Slime workshop Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Payment

• Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is typical to secure a booking.

• Final Payment: Full payment is required to be settled on the day of the event or due within 2 days of workshop completion. Late payments will incur a 5% daily interest charge on the outstanding amount. If payment remains outstanding after 7 calendar days of job completion, GloBilly reserves the right to seek legal recourse for recovery.

Minimum Numbers: Workshops often have minimum participant requirements of 10 children. If numbers fall below this, the minimum cost is still charged.

• Changes to Attendance: Participant numbers should be confirmed at least 1 week in advance, with no reductions allowed after that point.

• Start Time: The session’s duration begins at the scheduled start time as confirmed, regardless of the actual arrival time of participants. GloBilly will be entitled to full compensation regardless of any non-arrivals or delayed arrivals of participants of the Client. GloBilly will make reasonable efforts to accommodate participants, but cannot guarantee a full experience (e.g., missing certain segments or content), and the session will proceed as per the original schedule.

• Late Charges: If the party extends beyond the booked time, an additional charge (HK$300 per 30 minutes) will be applied. This late fee is non-negotiable and will be calculated and applied at the end of the session.

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Cancellation: Deposits are generally non-refundable.

• Rescheduling: Free rescheduling is often allowed if provided at least 2 weeks in advance. 

Inclement Weather (Typhoon/Rainstorm): If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning is issued 2.5 hours before the event, the session will be postponed. No refunds are typically provided for weather cancellations; the workshop will be rescheduled.

3.Liability and Safety

• Liability Disclaimer: GloBilly is not responsible for:

 i) Any injuries or incidents occurring during the workshop or from playing with slime.

 ii) Any damages or losses related to the venue provided.

• Supervision: Children aged 3 to 12 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian (usually 1 adult per 1 child, or 1 adult per group).

• Responsibility: The organization, organizer, collaborator, or parent is responsible for supervising both participants and the venue during the workshop.

• Allergies and Safety: While materials are generally non-toxic and comply to local standards, participants with sensitive skin should be advised to wear gloves. Slime should never be consumed.

• Health Policy: Globilly reserves the right to refuse admission to children showing symptoms of communicable diseases.

Location Safety: Participants must follow all safety instructions given by the instructor.

4.Workshop Policies

• Duration: A session is usually 45- 60 minutes(depending on the workshop package chosen), beginning at the scheduled time regardless of participant arrival times.

• Materials and Setup: GloBilly will provide all necessary materials and setup for the event. Clients are responsible for ensuring the agreed space is available and prepared before the scheduled start time.

Staffing Provisions and Fees: One GloBilly staff member will manage workshops of up to 10 participants (10 participant pairs for younger children with adult supervision). 2 staff members are required for up to 15 participants/pairs. GloBilly reserves the right to determine the number of staff necessary for each workshop. Each staff member costs HK$300 per workshop 

Photography/Filming: Globilly reserves the right to take photos and videos for promotional purposes. Clients may request to opt out.

Damage to Venue: If hosting at a specific location, the client is responsible for damage to the venue's property.

5.Client Conduct and Responsibility

• Clients are expected to cooperate with GloBilly staff and follow reasonable instructions during the event.

Disruptive behavior, unclear instructions, or last-minute changes that affect workshop delivery may result in GloBilly adjusting materials or staff as needed.

GloBilly reserves the right to terminate or modify services if client actions compromise safety or workshop quality.

6.Specific Hong Kong Considerations

Remote Locations: Our normal transportation fee of HK$300 will be applied to all workshops. An additional fees may apply for outlying locations. The fee will be confirmed at the time of booking and included in the final invoice. Clients are responsible for providing accurate location details to determine applicability of this fee.

Language: Workshops will be conducted in English.

• Age Restriction:Commonly geared towards ages 4 and above, with mandatory parental assistance for younger children.

7.Confirmation

All terms are binding once confirmed by the Client via electronic communication or verbal agreement. This includes adherence to all timing, payment, and logistical arrangements outlined above. Clients must confirm the event details (including package specifics, session structure, and material scope) when accepting the quotation. Unconfirmed requests will not be included in the event scope. In case of disputes, GloBilly will rely on the documented agreement.

 

*Violation of Terms and Conditions*

If the Client or venue users violate any of these Terms and Conditions, Globilly reserves the right to cancel or terminate services without any legal liability, including but not limited to non-refunded payments or compensation. GloBilly further reserves the right to pursue any legal remedies for such violations. In case of any disputes, GloBilly retains the final decision-making authority.

By booking a slime workshop with Globilly, you agree that: All participants are responsible for their own safety. Slime materials may cause skin irritation; gloves can be provided upon request. Globilly is not liable for damage to clothes or personal items.
